At Baselworld 2018, Omega especially focused on the new models in the Seamaster Diver 300M collection. But other Basel innovations from the Bieler Manufaktur are no less interesting.

Above all, the wave-like surface treatment of the new Seamaster Diver 300M dials immediately catches the eye. There are also ceramic bezels with white enamel and the METAS-certified master chronometer movements.

The dials are also made of ceramic and change depending on the incidence of light.

In addition, the steel belts are now equipped with a new, easily adjustable extension system.

The so-called Titanium Tantalum Limited Edition comes on the market as a limited edition of 2,500 copies. Their case is made of grade 2 titanium and completed with Sedna gold applications. Super light and well processed, even if not optically mainstream or rather peculiar.

Also new is the Speedmaster “Dark Side of the Moon” Apollo 8 in homage to the 50th anniversary of the successful Apollo-8 mission in 1968.

As usual, the 44.25 mm case is made of ceramic and equipped with the optically revised caliber 1869, which is undoubtedly impressive.

We noticed the two new Seamaster 1948 models as extremely successful. Here too, an anniversary serves as a hanger, but this time the 70th year.

Automatic master chronometer movements also work here. The completion of the entire collection with the MC calibers presented in 2016 therefore continues.

Both variants are delivered in 38mm stainless steel cases and are limited to 1,948 copies each.
